Sirrus Releases Version 1.1 of Stratus Analytics
(CALGARY, AB—May 14, 2008)— Sirrus has released version 1.2 of their flagship product Stratus Analytics. Stratus Analytics is a packaged data analysis solution and corporate reporting framework for companies. New features include a powerful “Data Browser” capability that allows users create, maintain and publish data-driven views of information across the organization. Browsers allow information to be sorted, filtered and exported to popular applications like Microsoft Excel.
“The addition of the Data Browser functionality is a direct result of listening to feedback from our clients,” said Dan Ellis, Principal at Sirrus. “Many of our users wanted the ability to get views of data from a variety of sources and show them in an environment that allowed for flexible filtering, sorting, totaling and easy export. With Browsers, users can setup their own views of data, create parameters and use the built-in functionality of Stratus to analyze this information.”
Stratus Analytics allows end users to analyze information by leveraging Microsoft SQL Server. With standard connectors to main-line oil and gas applications, Stratus can be up and running in a fraction of the time associated with traditional approaches to Business Intelligence solutions.
